National Resources
StopHazing’s mission is to promote safe and inclusive school, campus, and organizational environments through research, resource sharing, and the development of data-driven strategies for hazing prevention and the promotion of positive and inclusive group climates.
Hazing Prevention Network, formerly HazingPrevention.Org, is a national nonprofit dedicated to empowering people to prevent hazing. Our goal is to educate people about the dangers of hazing, advocate for change, and engage the community in strategies to prevent hazing.
The Clery Center collaborates with college and university communities to create safer campuses and help college and university officials comply with the Jeanne Clery Act's standards.
Hazing Prevention Workshops
Organizational Hazing Workshop
This workshop is designed for the entirety of a group to come together for a conversation about how we bring new members into the group in a way that reflects the stated mission and purpose of the group. Participants will leave with an understanding of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ policies around hazing and clear action steps to take to evaluate their new member program.
10 Signs of a Healthy and Unhealthy Group Workshop
This workshop highlights how healthy and unhealthy behaviors can occur in a group context and within group relationships. Building on One Love’s 10 Signs of Healthy & Unhealthy Relationships, StopHazing and One Love collaborated to use the same framework to consider groups' healthy and unhealthy behaviors. The workshop takes about 60-90 minutes and can be tailored to your group’s needs.
